CHIMERA examines queer ecology and non-binary life in nature. What defines the human as a species? To what extent have systems of knowledge established boundaries between life forms which really are fluid? How can „we“, in symbiosis with technology, re-enter the category of nature?

Found footage, re-assembled into playful worlds, questions the creation and dress of (scientific) knowledge, which dissects and separates forms of life, dooming queer beings as unnatural.

How can we function in such systems of alienation, in which all Western culture appears to counter nature: climate change, the gender binary, etc.?
